Abstract

The purpose of this study to describe the implementation of online learning, learning problems experienced by teachers, and the solutions used to overcome the problems that arise in the implementation of online learning in SD Negeri 1 Krasak Boyolali. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were second grade teachers at SD Negeri 1 Krasak Boyolali. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity test of the data used in this research is triangulation of sources and triangulation techniques. The data analysis techniques used in this study using Miles and Huberman analysis model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The result showed that there were problems experience by grade II teachers when conducting online learning activities. At the planning stage teachers experience problems when preparing online lesson plans, at the implementation stage teachers experience problems when supervising and delivering learning materials, while at the evaluation stage teachers experience problems in assessing knowledge, attitudes, and skills. The conclusion of this study is that the problems experienced by teachers during online learning activities can be found a solution by adjusting the state of students and the school environment.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the profile of misconceptions based on the Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning style regarding students' understanding of fractions and the causes of misconceptions in the fifth grade of SD Negeri Wonosri. This research is a qualitative research method. The research subjects were the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Wonosri. Data collection techniques are learning style tests, fractional material tests, interviews with teachers, and interviews with students. The validity of the data using technical triangulation techniques. Data analysis used descriptive analysis techniques. The research procedure is the initial preparation, the research implementation stage, the data processing stage, and the data presentation.The results showed that two research subjects who had a visualization learning style experienced systematic misconceptions and numeracy misconceptions. Two research subjects who have an auditory learning style experience systematic and translation misconceptions. Two other research subjects have a kinesthetic learning style experiencing systematic misconceptions. Factors causing students to experience misconceptions are preconceptions, lack of understanding of concepts, low interest in learning, teacher teaching methods that are too fast, lack of understanding of steps, students' associative thinking.Key Words: misconception, fraction material, learning style, and elementary school

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the students' reading comprehension ability in class V SDN 01 Karangmojo. This study is a qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects of this research were 5 fifth grade students of SDN 01 Karangmojo. The subject selection technique is done by criterion based selection. Research data were collected through test data collection techniques, documentation and interviews. This research uses the validity test with the triangulation techniques. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model. The results showed that the reading comprehension ability of fifth grade students of SDN 01 Karangmojo based on Barrett's taxonomy is literal and reorganization comprehension are the most dominant indicator of reading comprehension ability. This means that students are able to find the meaning of words, determine main ideas, choose important paragraphs, and capture information that is implied in the reading. Low reading comprehension skills are in inferential and evaluative comprehension. Students are quite able to evaluate the content in the reading but have not been able to draw conclusions, assess ideas and express reasons for choosing these ideas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of online learning on civic education subjects for Class V Elementary School 1 Semali. The subjects of this study were class teachers and students of class V Elementary School 1 Semali, totaling 25 children. There are 3 discussions to determine the effectiveness of online learning, namely the implementation of online learning, the activeness of students when participating in online learning, and student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques in this study included interviews, observation, and document analysis. The data of this study indicate that the implementation of online learning in class V of the State Elementary School 1 Semali is going well, but the students are not active during learning. This results in the teacher's assessment being less than optimal so that student scores tend to decrease during online learning. Based on the data, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of online learning in the subject of Citizenship Education Class V Elementary School 1 Semali for the academic year 2021/2022 is less effective because of the 3 indicators only 1 aspect is in the good category while the other 2 aspects in the poor category and tends to decrease.

Abstract

Abstract. This study intends to describe the outcomes of the 4C skills analysis. (Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity and Innovation) Subtheme I and my values in the fourth grade student's textbook. This study utilized a qualitative descriptive approach for its design. The utilized methodology is content analysis. Document analysis is used to gather information. The test for validity employs theoretical triangulation and boosts the persistence of observations. The technique for data analysis consisted of three steps: data reduction, data display, and verification. The results indicated that communication abilities were 100 %, with the majority of Let’s Reading activities focusing on communication. 76% of students scored above average in critical thinking and problem solving, Let's Practice tasks that emphasize critical thinking and problem solving, 37% of students were found to possess collaboration abilities, and Let's Discuss activities are the most effective at encouraging students to collaborate, 16% of youngsters demonstrated creative and imaginative abilities, and Let's practice and Collaborate with Parents activities are the most influential in fostering these qualities. Based on these data, it can be stated that the subtheme's activities incorporate 4C competencies..Kata kunci: The 4Cs, critical thinking and problem solving, communication, collaboration, creativity and innovation, Student book.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to: (1) describe students' reading interest in reading literal comprehension of narrative texts, (2) describe students' learning motivation in reading literal comprehension of narrative texts. The research design used is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The research was carried out at SDN 1 Pantirejo Sragen.  The subject of this research was 5th grade students wihich had 13 students. Collecting data using questionnaires, observations, tests, and interviews. The validity of the data used is a triangulation technique with data analysis using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results of the research conducted showed that: (1) students' reading interest and motivation in reading comprehension skills were different and not the same, (2) students' reading interest and learning motivation were related to their literal reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the social skills of students in social studies learning inclass V SD N Sondakan No. 11 Surkarta for the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is classified into qualitative descriptive research. The research was carried out in May-June 2022 which took place at SD N Sondakan No. 11 Surakarta. The subjects of this study were students of class V. Data collection techniques were through observation, questionnaire assessment, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the data used is the analytical technique of Miles & Huberman through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data using triangulation techniques and sources. The results of the study showed that the average results of observations and questionnaires from 6 students were 72.70%. The average result of the highest aspect of social skills is the aspect of relationships with peers of 80.72%. The average result of the lowest aspect of social skills is the aspect of self-assertion of 60.93%. Overall, the research results can be concluded that students who are included in the good category of social skills students have appropriate, suitable, and not much different observations, questionnaires, and interviews scores, as well as students with fairly good and poor categories.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the misconceptions of science material theme VI heat and its transfer in fifth grade elementary school students. This type of research is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in the form of four-level diagnostic tests and interviews. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, namely all fifth grade students of SDN 1 Krasak Boyolali. The results showed that students of SDN 1 Krasak Boyolali had misconceptions on all subconcepts of the science material theme VI of heat and its displacement. The conclusion of this study is that the misconceptions that occur in students are 29.33% in the low category. The lowest misconception with a percentage of 23.32% is in the subconcepts of conductors and insulators. The highest misconception lies in the sub-concept of the difference in temperature and heat with a percentage of 36.65%. Factors that cause misconceptions in students come from wrong preconceptions, low interest in learning and improper reasoning.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the errors in solving the story questions about the circumference and area of flat shapes based on Newman Error Analysis in fourth grade students of SD Negeri Joho 01 Sukoharjo District in terms of field dependent and field independent cognitive styles. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects of this study consisted of 4 students. Research subjects were selected using purposive sampling. Research subjects were selected based on the results of the GEFT test. Data collection methods in this study were tests, interviews, and documents. The test given is 5 questions about the circumference and area of the plane. Data validation was carried out using triangulation techniques, namely comparing the data from the written test results with interviews that were equipped with documents from students. Data analysis used the Newman Error Analysis method. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, it shows that the errors in solving story problems in students with field dependent tend to be the same as students with field independent cognitive style. There are 4 types of errors, namely comprehension errors, transformation errors, process skills errors, and encoding errors. The mistakes made by students with field dependent are more than students with field independent cognitive style.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the learning motivation of fifth grade elementary school students in describing advertising exposure information. This study used qualitative research methods. The subjects of this study were seven fifth grade students at SDN Mangkubumen Lor No. 15 Surakarta for the 2021/2022 academic year. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The data analysis used is an interactive analysis model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results showed that students with low learning motivation had a percentage of 28.57%. Students with sufficient learning motivation have a percentage of 28.57%. Students with high learning motivation have a percentage of 28.57%. While students with very high learning motivation have a percentage of 14.29%. There are seven indicators of learning motivation to determine the level of student learning motivation, including: being diligent in facing assignments and completing them, facing difficulties tenaciously and never giving up, showing interest in dealing with problems, independent learning, getting bored quickly. on assignment. - Routinely do assignments, defend and convince opinions with good and strong reasons, and like to find problems and solve problems.
